My dog had this issue on WILD cold pressed. I changed to Alpha Spirit and the reflux is gone.

I had my dogs on this for a few orders, mainly my GSD puppy as it is all life stages. Made his poop very runny and smelly, as well as him having terrible gas. Gave some to my older one as he was jealous of the new smell (it is really smelly) but it exasperated his acid reflux to the point he was just randomly dribbling it out his mouth after eating it.

It’s a shame as it has a high rating and the customer service is great.

I put both mine on Alpha Spirit and now no gas, runny poops or reflux issues.

Dogs are omnivores and can eat both meat and vegetables/fruits/plants/rice/pasta/lentils/peanut butter etc etc. A dog can't get all of its required nutrition eating just raw meat no matter what the dead animal is. On the other hand a dog can absolutely survive and thrive from a plant based diet. All protein on earth and most vitamins come from the earth and plants...a dead carcass is just the middle man that has already used the best nutrients. Brambles the longest living dog lived 25+ years on a vegetarian diet. I'm feeding my dog nutrition that will make it live as long as possible and not what I or any other human likes to eat.

Hi Coopersmom97,

Our Cockador has itchy skin and since we have moved to tails we've seen an improvement, while I won't say it stops it completely, it has reduced the amount she is itching.

Hope this helps.

My two 3-year-old dogs, harrier and beagle, eat this and absolutely love it. I give them a scoop in the morning (sometimes add carrot or chicken for variety), take them out for a pee and poop, get back and give them another scoop. That keeps them going for the rest of the day.

Love Chappie. My young Lab’s tummy has always been sensitive and we have tried various diets. But Chappie keeps him on an even keel. Some people sneer (lots of dog food snobbery these days) but it works for our dog.

We have been ordering from Monty’s Larder for several months now and could not be more pleased with the food we have received for our miniature dachshund. The quality is outstanding and our dog, with a sensitive stomach, could not be happier and healthier with this food. He really loves it and has flourished on it compared to other foods we have tried. We would not hesitate to recommend.

I have fed an 80/20 food and did well on it, but then the price went up alot so looked around.

My dog has a lot of allergies some food needed to be right. ABSOLUTE fits the bill, my bitch looks great and as fit as anything.

I think it's a good food and well worth a try.

Cheers

Then why are so many dogs thriving on it??? We’ve spent hundreds of pounds on expensive brands and even went raw. My poor dog has had terrible stomach issues. Started on Chappie 6 months ago and she is a new dog! Firm stools, no smelly wind and she has more energy than ever
