Can you tell me what to expect with pancreatitis please. My sprocker is nearly 11 just been diagnosed . Do they ever need scans or x rays is it an expensive illness long term

Well my dog is seriously ill and hasn’t eaten in two weeks vet said forget his expensive food give him chappie. Today he’s playing with hits ball after eating this. He’s got pancreatitis. I wouldn’t normally feed this but this week I learned sometimes it can be beneficial

Same here. Mines been very Ill I am at the start of the journey with pancreatitis vet sent me for chappie. I am scared of what’s coming

Don’t feel bad about it. I would never ever feed my dog this stuff! Now he’s got pancreatitis vet told me feed him this!!! It’s first time he’s eaten properly in two weeks. Thank god for chappie. He will be eating it for the rest of his life now

Mines been the same not eaten much in two weeks.vet suggested I try chappie dog food which to be honest I always thought was cheap crap so never bought it. He’s wolfed it down and been ok after wards. Been told don’t feed him normal two meals a day give it to him little and often then buy hills low fat kibble or Ava weight management kibble. We went for Ava and he’s been fine too. We see vet again Monday he’s already got thyroid issue which is treated and under control. They say he’s got a red blood cell issue as well. He’s been chasing his back tonight

1. Protein level is insufficient for it to be a full time complete food.
