My lurcher has been on this since 4 months (now 10 months) and finds it great. Recommended amounts are quite a bit too low though, so although it can be found at a cheaper price than the calculator uses, it still works out a bit more expensive. Maybe a low energy type dog would be ok on recommended amounts. The best quality/price compromise we could see whilst keeping the ease of dry food.

Also as people mentioned before my dogs got serious tammy upset and runny poo, one of them is 4 years old the other a puppy so different food but they have identical problems, there is something very wrong with Eden food.

My dog has been on Eden from a puppy, she is now 7.5 yo. She has always been really good on it up until about a year ago - as others mentioned below she has had an awful upset tummy and problems with her poops - has the formula changed recently? I've had to switch her to another brand and she is back to her normal self.

Our old boy was on Eden for nearly all of his 16 years, we lost him over a year ago and have since bought another puppy, both mini dachshunds. The pup is now 16 months old and when we got him the breeder had him on Sausage dog Sanctuary kibble so we continued with that until around 3/4 months ago we decided to move him onto Eden this has been going well and we are on our 3rd bag …however the last couple of weeks we have been getting soggy poops every time and getting a bit concerned, not sure if we should go back to Sausage dog Sanctuary or try something else….but what! Anybody else had this issue with Eden?

Currently looking to change my 10 month miniature poodle over from AVA to either Eden or Gentle cold pressed food. Has anyone tried Gentle and if so how did it compare to Eden? Gentle is rated 93% however, it has a lower meat content & includes rice.

Truth be told we only came off Eden because it was becoming expensive with two dogs.

Has anyone fed this to a nursing dog feeding puppies ? They say I should free fed by leaving her bowl full all the time. I've read a lot about over feeding with this brand causing stomach upset and loose stools. Any advice would be appreciated on feeding eden puppy to a nursing female

My dog has also been on this for 3.5 Years but has now started to have really bad reflux. He doesn't have any treats as I have to watch his weight due to his luxating patella (he's a Frenchie and had a knee op) so I'm reluctantly having to change his food as his stools are perfect.

trying to find a fiffernt better brand will be hard , orijen is the closest thing and much dearer unless you go to natures menu which is the best 80% protein and fruit veg .

Country Cuisine- Change in texture My dogs have happily been eating this for over a year. The last large bag I ordered in February looked different to normal, it was lighter in colour and almost crumbly in texture. Both of my dogs have had dreadful upset stomachs. Thinking of looking for a different brand.

My dog trainer told me that the protein in the food I am feeding my dogs (26%) is too high and I should switch to Burns (I believe it's 18%). She said my dogs have excess energy even though I disagree. I secretly believe that she has a partnership with Burns due to the fact she is also a part time veterinary nurse. Long story story, seeing the protein content in this food (41%) scared me. I'd love to hear some feedback on this, thanks!

I have a 15 week old Tibetan Terrier. We are just moving over to Eden Country Cuisine. She currently weighs 5.8kg so according to the pack should be getting 65-70 grams per day. Is this right as it looks such a small amount to be split over 2 meals?

Hi,I have a 17 week old GSD x Akita and a 12 week old Springer Spanlel. Prior to the Springers arrival I was free feeding the GSD, Purina Beta. He is thin compared to other pups of his age I see at the park, who tend to be a lot more rolypoly. I was worried I was doing something wrong with him (which I now don't think I am - I think he's just naturally carries less fat) and after research (and finding out how many unhealthy things go into the Beta) I thought I'd switch to Eden.We then got the Springer who is very different and would eat until he exploded if you left enough food out, so we had to change and now measure all food. I'm trying to follow the recommended amounts but am having issues. They are both starving hungry all the time. When you put the food down they attack the bowl like they haven't eaten in days, and then constantly search for food until you next feed them. The problem is - being a GSD - if I up the food at all he has the runs which I'm wary of because of how thin he is - there isn't a lot of reserve on him for errors. So my long winded question - what would you recommend I bulk their meals up with?

Hello could I get some advice please, I've been using Eden Dog Food for my Newfoundland since he was 9 weeks old after weaning him off the breeders royal cain puppy food all was good but now he's coming up 16 weeks & just over 20kilo in weight his food portions are going up too natural but his rear end is taking a hit for it.I've double checked that I'm feeding him the correct about and changed from 4 meals to 3 (same daily amount) but he will still have more very loose stoles over the easy baggies we were getting before and he stinks (wind wind wind). Now I spoke to vet and there pushing as they do on every visit the Royal Cain Sensitive food which I wont be touching as I don't wish to feed my pup grain/wheat foods. The only treats he has had which I've stop were Paddywack and pigs ears by Hollings. Now when i done my research I ended up picking two foods just in case this happened but before I give up and go to Canagan is there anyone that's able to help me please.Thank You x

Hi we are picking up an 8 week old pup in a weeks time who is currently being weaned on Skinners he is from a working line of Labrador retrievers. We don't want him to stay on this brand and are looking at researching the best thing to put him onto once he has settled in, which would be the best one to try him on I'm tempted by the country cuisine but don't want to upset his tummy when he is so small, how long would you suggest we wait before starting the change over. I so want to get this right but so many options its really difficult to decide which way to go.

I've got a 17 week border springer x and looking to switch him on to a higher end dry complete. Currently he has James Wellbeloved purely because he was on the brand when we rescued him. I'm looking at order a 2kg bag of Eden to start with to mix in with his current kibble. His current weight is 11kg so would the smaller or medium kibble be more preferable for a dog his age/size or is it purely owner choice?

My working cocker spaniel has been on Eden for about 10 months and is doing really well on it. She has been mated and I would like some advice on how much Eden I should be feeding her. I have been told I don't need to put her on any other food because the protein content is as high as puppy food (which I put her on last time she was in pup). Please can you advise

I can't recommend Eden highly enough. My 2 Labs have been fed Eden for 3 years now and have never looked fitter despite their advancing years at 9 and 14. I had no trouble moving them to Eden from their previous prescription diet, I introduced it gradually over a period of 2 and a bit weeks and they suffered no upset tummies or other problems. They're both very active but I feed around 10%-15% less than Eden suggest for their weight as that leaves a little room for the odd treat and as they're so fit I think they use their calories very conservatively (if you know what I mean). They have the glossiest of coats and are well muscled, in fact I noticed a difference in their muscle tone within weeks of beginning to feed Eden. I give them either the multi meat and fish variety or the country cuisine just for a bit of variation and for the different protein sources in each. They're going to try the catch of the day this time around just to add further variety. I've found that I've never needed to introduce a new flavour gradually, they just tuck in and enjoy it. Customer service is very helpful (and I had lots of questions before I swapped so I can testify that they're very patient and knowledgeable!). Eden has 3 very satisified customers in our household.

Just thought I would ask here as Eden seems to be really good at replying. My dogs are currently on a raw diet and have been since the start of summer, however we've just ordered our first bag of Eden and would like to make the switch. I'm just looking for some advice on how to switch them from raw to Eden, as I know you should usually gradually change diet but you also shouldn't mix raw/not raw feed as they find it difficult to digest. My dogs are both greyhounds and their stomachs can be a little sensitive so would like to make the transition as easy as possible. Anyway, thanks for any advice anyone has.

Hi Eden, I'm due to collect my St Betnard puppy on 28/10/15, she will be ten weeks old? Can you tell me if your food will be suitable for her at this age? Also how much would you recommend feeding? This food has worked wonders for our Labradors allergies! Thanks

Hi, I'm thinking about trying my working cocker spaniel puppy (he is working type but won't be working) on eden. He's currently just over 5 months and weighs 12.5kg, I realise this is pretty heavy for his age but he's not overweight, if anything he's more on the skinny side. I bought a couple of sample packs to try him on and he seems to like it, i'm just wondering what quantities i should be giving him as I have no idea what his adult weight will be given that its looking like he will be fairly large for his breed.

Hello -- I have a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer with chronic liver disease. He's currently on the Royal Canin Canine Hepatic
kibble but I'm just not crazy about the ingredients (will include below). He was previously on Orijen but the vet made us switch as he needs moderate levels of protein and low levels of copper. Does Eden provide anything for liver disease dogs? Thank you in advance. Here are the ingredients: Brewers rice, brown rice, corn, chicken fat, soy protein isolate, natural flavors, dried beet pulp, vegetable oil, monocalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, potassium chloride, fish oil, DL-methionine, fructooligosaccharides, choline chloride, taurine, salt, L-lysine, Trace minerals [zinc proteinate, ferrous sulfate, manganous oxide, calcium iodate, sodium selenite], marigold extract (Tagetes erecta L.), L-carnitine, vitamins [dl-alpha tocopherol (source of vitamin E), L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (source of vitamin C), biotin, D-calcium pantothenate, vitamin A acetate, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin K3, folic acid, vitamin D3 supplement], rosemary extract, preserved with natural mixed tocopherols and citric acid.

hello I rescued my Lowchen last November being told he was brilliant with other dogs and on walks this has not turned out to the be case. I was advised by the rescue centre to give him Burns which I have done. I was chatting about his behaviour being very reactive and lunges and scans the whole time we are out on walks and she says she wondered if it was his diet??? As a new dog owner I don't know. Any ideas?

I've admitted defeat and have stopped using this. My dogs became dangerously thin despite doubling their required dose. I discussed it with five vets I work with at different times and they all were against the diet, so in the end I thought why am I choosing Internet hype over a load of vets I work with and have the option to have in depth conversations with. In Edens defence they supported me well. And if they ever did a low protein diet with fabulous ingredients I would switch in a second. But for now i can't reccomend Eden!

I have been feeding my two dogs Edans dog food for the last 6 months and they are both healthy and very happy eating it. The one accessory I think would be really helpful for Edans to provide their customers (either free or for a small charge) would be a measuring cup to help dispensing the food faster and accurately.

I feel as though I have done nothing but research dog food over the last six months and no matter what I select as a possibility I always end up with the 'choice' I want to make of Eden... So seven weeks ago I started the switch very very slowly as my dogs have various 'issues'. Weight loss and a loose stool have been a problem, but because I made the choice I decided to stick with it and take the approach that no question would be too small. I have contacted Eden throughout the process and they have come back to me so quickly, even with information that in hindsight I could have found myself on their website. I haven't got completely sorted with my dogs yet but I know with their help we will get there, but already I can 100% say that I have dogs with the softest coats they've ever had, are calmer and have no itching saving me needing to reach for the prescribed vet steroid creams I needed before... So I just know that whilst there has been times where I've wanted to give up on my choice, with the amazing support I've had we will get there! After all I have never before found another food that suits my dogs, so ultimately it has come down to me deciding on what is best and then working to transition them away from all the rubbish in the foods they have been having!

Best thing after Raw food. Did the raw thing. Flies were an issue when defrosting.
Eden is certainly the best alternative I've found. Dogs look amazing on it. Would be nice if it was cheaper but I guess the quality would reduce with the price :(

Just a quick comment regarding those whose dogs suffer from runny poos. My 12 month old basset has been on Eden for the last 7 months or so. He suffered from runny poos whilst on the original mixed meat He's now been on the Catch of the Day for the last 4 months. What a difference! Things are now perfect in the rear end department. (He had a serious gastric upset last year and the vet put him on a well know brand chicken based gastric designed food for a couple of days. BIG mistake! We'll stay off chicken from now on). Thanks Eden, from a healthy, shiny coated, full of bounce, happy basset hound and his owner.

I have two Staffords, one of which was previously very fussy and the other has skin issues so finding a food to suit them both was almost impossible.
I've tried so many brands prior to discovering Eden and nothing has come close.
I have empty bowls within minutes and two very healthy, happy and shiny Staffords now.The fact that it has such a high meat (I use Catch of the day, fish) means they never turn up their noses at it and that it has absolutely no grains or fillers means my girl doesn't lose her hair any more, no dry skin or dull coat either. They have just one small, firm and almost odourless bowel movement a day now. Absolutely amazing, good quality kibble I wouldn't buy anything else now.

I have a 2yo boxer cross who has been on Eden for only about 6 weeks after a series of dietary issues from other food. Will soon be ordering his second bag!Honestly, he's thriving, He loves the smell/taste of the food, his behaviour is better - he's a lot calmer in himself, his eyes are less gunky, his teeth are clean (and his breath fresher!), he's leaner with better muscle definition, and his coat is so soft and shiny.I was mainly hoping when I changed his food to just get his stomach sorted out. I wasn't prepared for how much difference it would really make to his overall condition, and I'm so happy I found Eden through this site.I can't really comment on the customer service element, as I've not really had cause to use it so far. I've heard positives and negatives, as with most companies. However, I'm sufficiently convinced by the food that I'm not actually all that bothered how good it is. There's nowhere that currently stocks Eden locally as far as I'm aware (Leics), but my first bag certainly arrived very quickly - within 48hrs I think.Price wise, Eden is actually pretty competitive. It's not the cheapest, but you don't actually need to feed that much of it, so cost per day is quite good. Our previous food we fed 375g per day, which is now at about 265g per day with Eden. My guess is that a 15kg bag will last us approx 8 weeks for a 25/26kg dog. Since seeing the difference in his condition, I've also started giving him raw bones from the butcher as a treat, rather than the standard stuff you can buy in the shops, which is full of rubbish. At about 25p for a bag, he's also a lot cheaper to treat as well now!

Its really sad that certain parties cannot except a good thing, great in fact, when it finally comes along. The sheer notion of marking Eden as an "Awful" product is absolutely laughable and clearly the work of an individual or individuals with an agenda. We are fully aware of the brands that fully deserve to be labelled as "Awful" but Eden, don't be ridiculous, I can fully except it may not work for every owner for one reason or another but to label it as somehow "Awful".?? Don't be daft, insulting in fact to those of us that clearly know better and one of the very few shining lights within this minefield that is the ever increasing (and understandably very confusing) pet food industry. One look at Edens totally transparent ingredients list from top to bottom clearly show its vastly superior pedigree (pardon the pun). :)

It never ceases to amaze me how short peoples memories can be, It wasn't so long ago that the UK consumer would have given its eye teeth for a local based Orijen equivalent and now that's it here they are somehow the enemy..???? its the scarce companies such as Eden that are genuine trailblazers within what is very tainted pet food industry and yet there are still have a few small minded individuals who feel it is their solemn duty to slate and slander their fantastic work at every opportunity. In conclusion their time would be better spent tackling the likes of Mars and Purina etc whos goals are simply motivated by greed and profit unlike Eden who are genuinely trying to make a difference within this industry unlike the aforementioned greed driven corporations. Incidentally, to imply that a 15kg bag of Eden priced at 53.99 with a higher protein concentration than a 13kg bag of Orijen priced at 67.99 with a lower protein concentration requiring more is a silly foolhardy statement and quite frankly incorrect. I switched from from Orijen as soon as Eden was released onto the marked and it has saved me a fortune and that includes the minimal price increase which is still without question a bargain purchase. My American Akitas look absolutely fantastic and feeding time is an absolute breeze. Keep up the fantastic work Eden.

I must say I was a bit sceptical to start. But I thought with 5* reviews it's got to be worth a try and I must say its lived up to its 5* rating. My dog Amber is a GSD Cross and is 8 years old and over the last few years has suffered from compact anal glands to the point where they became infected very easily. I fed her chappie dry which I was told was good but she always needed it mixed with a bit of meat too to eat it. So it became expensive buying both dry and tinned chappie. I like to give dry as its much better for their teeth. So to find a 15kg dry food for £49.99 that she eats is brilliant.I am made up that amber has found Edens a dry food that she loves and gobbles up before the cats get to it and clearly the change in diet has had a massive impact on her health too resulting in no more problems with her anal glands!!Highly recommend Edens!!

I was very upset with Eden food, IMO it is too high in protein and too low in fibre. Both my dogs had bad tums on it, as did 3 of my friends dogs. Several months down the line I am finding more and more people having the same problem. I'm thinking it may be more suited to bigger, more active dogs.

Ok allow me to give you the benefit of nearly two decades of practicing animal nutrition or in this case in relation to dogs and dispel this nonsense high protein myth once and for all. Proteins
are made up of amino acids, which are the building blocks that form
thousands of different proteins, each with a specific function. Every
different amino acid configuration corresponds to a different protein,
including first and foremost brain function, enzymes, hormones, genes,
red blood cells, hair, skin, bone and muscle etc. Dogs can manufacture
some amino acids in their bodies, others must be supplied in their food.
Dietary protein contains ten essential amino acids that dogs cannot
produce on their own. Proteins from animal sources are essential as dogs
have a very short gastrointestinal (GI) tract which is around three
times their body length, with food often staying in a dog for only nine
to eleven hours. so it is essential to give them a high protein calorie
dense diet as they absorb nutrients so fast. Low (gluten) protein and
High fiber, carbohydrate and starch laden foods with grains ignore this
fact, providing an unnatural burden on your dogs Gastro Intestinal
tract that results in excessive system bulk and reduced nutrient
absorption. Furthermore, dogs exhibit a much higher concentration of
stomach acid which allows for faster digestion of animal protein . The
type of protein contained in the food is essential to know. Foods
containing cereal proteins (wheat, corn, barley, rice etc) have little
or no nutritional value for dogs which also places severe stress on your
dogs pancreas which can lead to Pancreatitis which occurs when
pancreatic enzymes (especially trypsin) that digest food are activated
in the pancreas as the lower intestine is unable to do so
as a result of consuming a food that is completely unsuitable and
biologically inappropriate for a carnivore. Further stress is also
placed on their kidneys in an attempt to filter out the practically
useless biologically inappropriate gluten protein composite (including
soya protein etc) also sourced from the aforementioned grains (wheat,
corn, barley, rice etc). Muscle meats, eggs and organ meats (such as
liver) provide the required and essential bio available protein. Protein
deficiencies result in slow growth and weak or deformed bones. Also
linked to animal protein deficiencies are chronic skin and ear
infections, epilepsy and cancer, spinning or tail chasing, aggression,
timidity, lack of pigmentation, excessive shedding, crooked whiskers,
gastrointestinal upsets, poor appetite, a weakened immune system, and an
impaired ability to heal from wounds to name but a few. Dietary sources
for bio appropriate proteins are meat, organ meat, fish and eggs. In
conclusion Protein should comprise anywhere from 40-50% of your dog's
diet depending on their age and level of activity. Contrary to the
popular myth older dogs actually require more protein as of course do
puppies. The typical adult dog should receive at least 40% protein with
puppies up to 50% regardless of breed. Raw advocates understand that the true protein percentage of raw meat can only be gauged when its water content is extracted or removed at which point true content its anything from 50 - 60%. Any self proclaimed expert that states that high protein is bad, causes hyperactivity or different breeds require different diets etc is quite simply ignorant and has literally zero knowledge of the biological requirement of canines.

Finally! I have spent months researching dog food. Wanting the best, but never achieving dog and owner satisfaction. We have tried everything from mainstream rubbish to raw. My dogs were fussy with the raw and as it's raw, and doesn't keep, I ended up throwing it out. Origen, I thought was great but the dogs weren't so keen. Giving away food at that price was painful. Then after visiting this site, I discovered Eden. How exciting! A food that not only do I love but the dogs were wanting to get at even before I had opened the bag. We never have any left in the bowls. Their stools are firm. I can't understand reading the other reviews why some people say their dogs have had sloppy stools, and when explained they are probably over feeding them, they refuse to address this. Why not give them a raw meaty bone as an extra? As this food is so good, you can give raw alongside. Great news for those who like their dogs to have a raw meaty bone for their teeth. On top of all this, it is made in the UK! Exciting! I have found their customer service the absolute best and I look forward to seeing them grow and grow.

Started out promising,Dogs coat felt lovely for the first few days but then started to get scabs on his back and tail where he had them back when we originally rescued him. Also suffered from runny feces for a couple of weeks (previously fed raw food so not due to high meat content!) I'm sure the food has worked great for some but certainly not the 'wonder-food' its getting hyped to be!

I couldn't say it enough, it's never too late to change to Eden. The change in my elderly Parson since switching last May really is remarkable. This time last year he looked old and frail. Lacking in energy and getting a bit grumpy. Turning 14 last March I thought I probably wouldn't have him much longer. WELL!!!! 6 months on Eden? He lost weight. Looking lean and fit. He has become increasingly playful like when he was younger. A lot more energetic on his walks. Definitely less of a grumpy old man and his coat is so lovely and soft. My dog certainly doesn't look like he is going to leave this world any time soon and I can enjoy him for longer. A truly fanatastic product. I have waited a long time for something like this to come on the market.

After much research and playing about with raw etc, which just didn't suit us, I wanted a really high quality dry food. I ordered Orijen, and my dogs weren't fussed on it at all. I had to give it away. I was getting to the end of my tether, but then I found Eden. They love it. :0) I am happy as I know I am feeding them quality food and an affordable price, and they are happy as it's tasty!!! Made in the UK too. Perfect.

Love this dog food, both my Akita's are thriving on it, my boy doesn't turn his nose at meal times anymore, and my rescue girl who was in poor condition when i got her looks amazing. Clean bowls every time plus 2 happy dogs = one happy mummy. Will you be stocking it in the doncaster area at some point. Many thanks Rachel

Too bad the company keeps baning every single bad review while they can, and blaming the owners. They need to change NOW that attitude or the customers whose pets don't go well with Eden will be a serious problem for them. I think the food is ok, but is not suitable for ALL dogs, and they should state this clearly. Shame on them.

Hi Coco, this is not the case, there are good and bad reviews on our Facebook site and we try our best to help everyone. with any issues they may have. Just as the food does not suit all of the dogs the food is not necessarily to blame either as with other foods. There are not many companies that offer any help or answer emails so we feel we offer a very good service to our customers

This is an amazing product. We took in a rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier six weeks ago. When he came home with us he wasn't eating (and hadn't eaten very well in the kennels either). I tried to tempt him with all sorts of different foods but with no luck. He even turned his nose up at chicken! I found Eden on this website and thought it was worth a try. I had already been through a few of the other foods on here with no luck. I got a sample bag first and he took to it straight away. I ordered online and the delivery was very quick (needless to say he didn't eat until it came, so thankfully it was quick!).
I stupidly didn't follow the feeding guidelines and fed him approx 350-400g per day (he's a 25kg staffie who gets approx 1 hour of exercise every day). As he started to eat all the food in the bowl he developed a very windy tummy and very loose stools! I was so dissapointed as this was the only food he had actually eaten.
I contacted Eden customer services (who are excellent!), they replied in under half an hour and we discussed feeding amounts etc. They advised that I was being a little to over enthusiastic with the amounts and suggested I lower him down to 150/200g per day. As soon as I did this the wind stopped and the stools returned to normal. I am now feeding him 200g every day (spread across 2 meals).
His coat is now extremely shiny (the bald patches have dissapeared), his eyes are bright and he is enjoying his walks with energy and enthusiasm.
This really is an amazing food. Not only is it amazing quality (compare it to regular foods and you will see just how good it is). It is so reasonably priced, and when you take into account the amount you are feeding, one 15kg bag goes a very long way.
I would definitely persevere if your dog gets a bit windy and its worth contacting their customer services as they are incredibly helpful. 5 star as far as I am concerned.

In January 2013, my Great
Dane Djebel was diagnosed with Wobblers. I decided that I would review
everything I was doing with both my dogs and what I fed them was obviously
fundamental.I was guided towards Eden
from Whichdogfood and after a long and patient phone call with Paul from Eden
who was informative, helpful and encouraging, I ordered my first batch (I live
in France so Paul put me onto their spanish distributors because the P&P is
better value and their service has also been irreproachable).
The transition to Eden
couldn't have been easier and both dogs took to it straight away. I add some
warm water to it and I have a 'concoction' of natural ingredients that I add to
Djebels kibble for her Wobblers.
Now over 6 months later
the results are quite spectacular! Both dogs have slimmed
down, have waistlines, are muscular and lean, their coats are shinny and they
look great. Even their breath is sweeter :o))
We live and work on our
Olive farm in Provence so the dogs have plenty of space about but I still take
great pleasure in going for a walk with them every day (something the
neurologist said I pobably wouldn’t be able to do anymore with Djebel as it
would be too tiring for her). Now over 6 months later
Djebel
has had no drugs for her Wobblers since her initial 15 day treatment and she
has not had a single relapse. In fact, if you didn't know she had Wobblers, you
wouldn't know there's anything wrong with her!Tati, my Griffon-x, had
her vet check a few days ago and the vet was so impressed at the difference she
saw in her that she decided to take a blood sample. She was very excited when
the results came back and said that my 9 year old has the results of a young 2
year old dog!It's a real eye-opener that
the simple action of changing my dogs kibble to Eden has had such a profound
effect on my dogs health and well being.Yes, OUTSTANDING food at
an outstanding price, all backed up by the very friendly and helpful Eden team.I couldn't be more satisfied
with the evidence before me and would recommend everyone to make
the change over to Eden. But DO take advice from the team as they can help
you make the transition as your dogs may be more sensitive to the change than
mine were! You may need help with quantities and reassurance and guidance if
your dogs react to the inevitable de-tox.

Ive had Charlie,My chocolate Labrador on grain free diet for some time.Ive been trying Orijen,Taste of the wild and Purizon, all more expensive and smaller bags as well. This food is as good as Orijen and better than the others.Toilet wasnt firm on Purizon and he was always hungry on Taste of the wild.I'll be keeping him on this while the price is this competitive.

I have 2 Husky girls the one we eat anything but the other is really picky, but after trying the sample which was gone in a few seconds bought a 15kg bag and they love it its hard to keep them out of the bag :)
they both have stool problems with they're last food so hopefully this might prove better.
really fast delivery so that was good.only downside so far my cats keeping trying to dab some.
over all really good product and happy so far.

Very disappointed, I was hoping this was as good as Orijen but sadly not, sloppy, sticky stools, I joined the Facebook group to discuss why this may be as since read many dogs are suffering the same thing regarding this food but my comments were deleted, obviously no negative comments are allowed, customers need to hear honest opinions good or bad!

Things started off very well with this food, 2 of my 3 dogs loved it instantly and I swapped straight over without any problems (I change foods regularly to avoid allergies) A few weeks down the line one dog didn't want it at all and the other was not so keen either. The worst thing has been the recurrent sloppy poos and sometimes bad diarrhea which comes and goes with both of them no matter how much I reduce the portions. My other dog who is not eating the Eden is having no such problems so I am certain it's related to the food.I am really disappointed as I was very excited to try the Eden after all the glowing recommendations but I guess it cannot suit all dogs. They are a great company with excellent service and support for their customers, sadly I will not be ordering it again.

Eden dog food ~ Amazing at a very reasonable price
well i just wanted to let others know just how great this food is, our 10 week old mastiff puppy Daisy absolutely loves the Eden dog food, she has an empty bowl after each meal and i am also using the kibble as training treats, even our 16 years old West highland terrier loves it too (who is a fussy fella), I've noticed its put a spring back in his step :) as well as firm, dark stools.
i will no longer bother ordering any other food due to the un-necessary ingredients....
I love that fact that is has 80% meat content with no cereals, oats or any other bloat type ingredients which we all know are bad for our dogs, A** rating from me
Well done Eden, Thanks again :)

Had my 4 month rottie puppy and 16 month old pug on this food for 6 weeks. My rottie the whole time has had a runny belly and the pug wouldn't touch it at all so he was moved onto a competitor brand early on. Contacted the company and was told to cut down on his food. That didn't help at all so contacted the company again at which point I was completely ignored. My 4 month puppy is the same size as a 3 month old and has neither grown nor gained weight in weeks. He's now off Eden and just 24hrs later his poop is solid again. I'm not the only person to have these problems with the food as a quick search on pet forums will show. Sadly, Eden is not for all dogs, most definitely wasn't for mine

Horrible experience with Eden. My little chihuahua had a terrible fur loss and her weight dropped to dangerous levels. All in a short period of time. The vet told me to avoid as hell this food. Low quality and basically well paid advertising. It's taking 6 months of treatment to put my little one back to normal. Be aware..

We have been using Eden food for approx 4 weeks and are so pleased to have found it! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Our Dogue de Bordeaux puppy is thriving on it, our vet asked what we was feeding him as he appears so healthy with a beautiful coat. The customer service is fantastic and delivery times very quick. Well worth every penny, for a high quality premium food the price is fab! I'm 100% certain my pup would give this the full 5 stars it fully deserves as do I. Amazing quality dog food by amazingly nice people!

Sent off for a sample bag of the medium sized food, which arrived quickly. Thought the price for 15kg, based on the reviews on here was very reasonable (I currently feed James WB for the same price). However I can't say I've had the same experience as many on here... Since my 2 year old Golden retriever has hardly had any stomach upsets or loose stools in his life, I was not prepared for what happened when we tried him with a small amount of Eden! The kibble was much darker (and probably therefore, richer than the JWB), but 3-4 hours after feeding him a little of the food for treats, and a small amount from my palm (probably no more than 20 kibble pieces in total) he was sick (very dark colour which would suggest the dark kibble)! Then he vomited again throughout the night, it really did not agree with him as he was lethargic the following day (unusual for him, being such a young dog). We changed nothing else in his diet except giving him this small amount of Eden, and can only assume it was way too rich, being 41% protein. As I say this happened out of the blue, in a very healthy dog who has never had upsets before.
I'm not trying to put people off trying the food, if most of the reviews on here are to be believed (which I certainly did as I had hoped we would be switching to Eden!) then it is a very good food. Just wanted to put across a different point of view, and advise owners to proceed with caution when trying this food. Glad we only went for a sample bag and not 15kg!

Sorry I cant believe it was the Eden food that made your dog sick! Just because the sick was the same colour as the food means nothing, only that it was the last thing the dog ate. You should try again. The JW you currently feed your dog on is full of hard to digest cereal. Where as Eden contains only ingredient's that benefit your dog .

Sounds great, but its double the price of Skinners, which I am using at the moment.

Eden is incredibly priced for the ingredient content and completely incomparable to Skinners, that is more suitable for a horse than a dog with all the grain it contains and with all due respect the first thing you should consider are the ingredients not the cost and if anybody really thinks they're saving money by going for a cheaper brand are only kidding themselves and more importantly their dog.

I've just put my dogs on Eden and they love it. It's bad enough to think what's in human processed food but what most companies put in processed pet food... Yuk! I trust Eden, it is what it is, a high quality pet food including just what they need with no nasty fillers. A very helpful company which are always there to advise.

We have two boxers both fed on James well beloved . One was a fussy eater and from time to time the other was pron to ear infections . Vet suggested it might be a food allergy . So we changed to Eden 2months ago . Guess what no more fussy eating the food goes as soon as its put down. It has also cured the recurrent ear infections as well. Also I have never seen their coats so shiney.
Eden pet foods a real winner thanks very much Eden!

An outstanding product at a outstanding price when compared to other dog foods. As Eden has such a highly concentrated meat content, so much less of this food is needed therefore meaning that this fantastic food, equates to the same price for my Akita as would much lower quality super market foods. I was not expecting to see such a difference in my boy since changing his food to Eden, as he was previously eating what is also deemed as another quality feed, however I have been amazed by the difference in his coat, and by the smaller stools he is producing just once a day might I add. He has been shedding less fur (Any Akita owner will understand the significance of this), and he has become overall calmer but with a greater stamina whilst on long wlks and playing with other dog's, and also whilst we participate in disc dogging!I have been very pleased with the prompt delivery of this product, and also by the service of which I have experienced. No question big or small is ever any bother for the producers, via the Facebook group I see several questions and problems being answered daily which don't even relate to this product. I myself have received some life changing advise on a chronic acid reflux problem my boy suffers with. The only problem I have encountered, is that this food is so tasty my cats persistently steal Kobi's Eden from his bowl, with the addition of a taurine substitute I now mix the Eden with my cats food to prevent theft lol.....5 Stars from me and my animals, they adore the taste, have had radical radiant coat changes, I no longer need to purchase nappy sacks for disposal of stools, and my vacuum no longer requires emptying on a daily basis. The service is second to none, and I cant thank them enouigh for the support and invaluable info I have been given regarding my dogs chronic illness. Thanks guysLisa
