Why is this only 25% meat on the wheel when the ingredients say 50% fresh salmon?

Hi, I asked this to Pooch & Mutt and this is the answer I got: "In regards to our Single Protein Fresh Salmon Dry Food containing 24% protein, this is because this is the overall amount of protein in the food, and although the food does contain 50% fresh salmon, salmon is not made up of 100% protein; it is also made up of healthy omega 3 fatty acids, this is also the same for any other protein source e.g. chicken, which also contains fats as well as protein." Basically clever/sneaky marketing to make it seem like there is 50% protein in each serve, however what it actually means is the salmon content in the bag which is 24% is made up of 50% fresh salmon and then other stuff like Omega
