Benevo launched in 2004 by two passionate vegans, Damian and Darrell as the first ethical and meat free pet food to be made in the UK. This brand specialises in vegan dog food and since launch, has continued to develop meat-free pet nutrition products for the greater good of animals.
Back in 2007 Benevo was voted as the most organic dog food by Ethical Consumer magazine. In 2012, Benevo expanded their product range and launched vegan puppy food and by 2018, the brand had received royal recognition.
Benevo is available in wet and dry formulas and includes a wide range of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. Their food is suitable for dogs with sensitive diets as they don't contain wheat, meat, dairy or common allergens.
The wheat free recipe is formulated to meet the European nutritional levels set by FEDIAF and their ingredients are carefully milled before being mixed to avoid whole grains which can be difficult to digest.
Benevo constantly researches the nutritional requirements of dogs and works alongside independent animal nutritionists to create a balanced suitable recipe.
