3. It will always only be a mixer. It's extortionist trying to feed a 40kg dog on it.

4. Flavour is obviously good as he's inhaling it

Just trialling Years for my GSD.

A few points

1. Protein level is insufficient for it to be a full time complete food.

2. I like the tray system as I can pop out a couple of lines of food

10/10 food. Have switched to this and my young whippet loves it. I thought the big pellets were big for him so got the small bites but they were too small. With these it’s actually really easy to break into half or thirds so best to get this rather than the small bites. He goes crazy for this and even recalls to it. Best food we’ve got in a long while. Just give him a 50:59 raw diet to help with his skin and fur which I noticed he tends to lack from just kibble alone.

Had my pup on this for a couple of months. You can tell it’s raw food because his skin and coat was extra silky from it. I was hand feeding my whippet this the annoying thing was that it did get on your hands quite a bit and you have to wash it off. He was really excited to have this to begin with but when we started hand feeding he would turn his nose up on it eventually. Ultimately his stomach and his poos didn’t settle too well on it. Took a while to wean on and off it. But once weaned on he did have firmer and dryer poos. But ended up using Gentle instead which he loves and is better for his stomach and have raw food for his other meal to help his skin and fur.

That’s just not true.

When my dog suddenly started having issues with his glands at 3y/o, I was told to try their hypoallergenic food.

My dog is raw fed. So if I were going to look for a food allergy, I would just drop to one protein. I wouldn’t try a food with 50 random ingredients, leaving me unable to narrow down the cause.

Vets recommend this food if your dog got random contact dermatitis or an ear infection. The food filling their offices are their go-to solutions.

Has the moisture % been missed out on this?

As looking at other pooch and mutt kibbles they have 10% moisture in them. But reading on this kibble it has nothing listed, has it been missed out?

Hi Christine - does your dog enjoy the fish recipe? We used to get this and then the recipes changed slightly when they brought it back and my girl wasn’t as keen. I’m looking for a very low fat fresh fish food for my boy and considering this again.

Hi, So because there is nothing added like rice or sweet potato, the main core ingredient is the meat, no other added ingredient other than the moisture, ie water hence why they can say its 100% meat. Always go by the protein % so with this 31% which is good. eg 99% of complete kibble is on 20% protein. Cold pressed food is higher 30-36%. I always give mine salubrious cold pressed because its 36% protein and is holistic and hypro allergenic. Also keep in mind a diet to rich in protein can cause some dogs digestive issues, like sick or diarrhea.
